The Hem Cord Attachment is used to produce a 1" weld width with a rigid or flexible cord or rope inserted within the hem. The material will be welded tight around the rope or cord. This weld finish is best used in extruded aluminum channels for construction of air structures, awnings, tents, truck covers, side curtains, screens, blinds, and digital print.
The Triad uses its unique Front Guide to pre-position the cord and pre-fold the material for initial set up. The material passes through the Special Guide System to position the cord and material to complete the welding process. The Hem Cord Attachment includes:

Flat Hem Attachment
The Hem Cord Attachment will produce a 1" hem weld with a rigid or flexible cord inserted within the hem. The weld will be tight around the cord. For use in extruded aluminum channels for construction of air sructures, awnings, tents, truck covers, side curtains, screens, blinds, etc. The Flat Hem Attachment includes:

(2) 2" Silicon Pressure Rollers w/hardware
At the welding area, the Flat Hem Outer Guide applies pressure to the fold of material against the side for the wedge to melt the thermoplastic. The larger pressure rollers complete the weld.
Once you own a Flat Hem or Hem Cord Attachment, you can accomplish the other type weld by simply adding an additional Guide and or Rollers. Similar parts interchange, no need to purchase another complete system. #33-104.1 (120V), #33-104.2 (240V)
Acrylic Tape Attachment
The Acrylic Tape Attachment allows the fabricator to now weld acrylic, and other non-thermal bonding materials. This tested, proven method will produce overlap, hem cord and flat hem welds with your existing Triad Wedge Welder.

1" Thin Material Attachment A unique attachment for welding thinner non-supported material from 5-10 mil thickness. Pre weld rollers and guides align material to help eliminate it from creeping. The Thin Material Attachment can only be used with the 1" Hem Cord housing and wedge.
Tube Guide Attachment
The Tube Guide Attachment will allow the fabricator to produce a specific size tube, on a continuous basis. Ideal for fabricating bladder bags, flotation tubes, ventilation tubes, filtration socks, sandbags, etc. The Tube Guide is adjustable from approximately 1.3" (31mm) to 11.5" (288mm) diameter and fabricates tubes in an automatic or stationary mode. The Tube Guide will retrofit to existing Triads and can produce tubes with standard wedge selection or the Hem Cord/Flat Hem Wedge Assembly.
